The FEPIMCTI AI Datathon 2026 is a multidisciplinary, cross-cutting, and collaborative event, an “academic marathon” where, over three days, data science and artificial intelligence will be applied to medicine.

Event Objectives
The challenges will focus on key areas where artificial intelligence can transform critical care, including hospital supply management, emergency department efficiency, clinical communication and logistics, predictive analytics for critical events, and AI-driven diagnostic support.

Organized by the Committee on Artificial Intelligence and Data Science in Critical Care of the Pan American and Iberian Federation of Critical Care and Intensive Therapy (FEPIMCTI), together with the Panamanian Association of Critical Care and Intensive Therapy, the event brings together multidisciplinary teams to solve real medical problems using anonymized clinical datasets.
